Parikh PP, et al. – Authors examined nationwide in–hospital post–adrenalectomy outcomes for adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC). Observations revealed that patients with functional ACC manifest significant comorbidities with certain in–hospital complications. They highlight the necessity for appropriate preoperative medical optimization of such high–risk patients prior to adrenalectomy.
