American Journal of Otolaryngology Jun 16, 2018

Sethi RKV, et al. - Given that operating room (OR) procedures represent one-quarter of hospitalizations, yet OR-related stays account for nearly 50% of hospital costs, experts evaluated the trends in inpatient parotidectomy, associated charges, and key outcomes including length of stay. In the United States, the evolution of the inpatient parotidectomy is noted over the past fourteen years.
