Mackintosh J, et al. - Herein, experts ascertained the efficacy of listening to music in reducing patient anxiety while undergoing pleural procedures. Findings unveiled reductions in heart rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure post-procedure compared to the pre-procedures values in enrollees belonging to the music group. Hence, it was deduced that listening to music was beneficial in reducing anxiety in patients undergoing pleural procedures.
