European Journal of Radiology May 22, 2018
Zhu L, et al. - Authors sought to ascertain the prevalence of multiple solid pancreatic lesions on dynamic enhanced CT performed for suspected pancreatic diseases, as well as to identify CT features of non-malignancies. Eight thousand, ninety-six consecutive patients who underwent dynamic enhanced CT pancreas protocol at a tertiary center over 40 months were investigated and to identify features that predict non-malignancies, a univariate and multivariate analysis was conducted. The consequences of this study demonstrated that multiple solid pancreatic lesions were rare, with a wide spectrum. Findings revealed that dynamic enhanced CT provided clues for identifying non-malignancies.
