Ribero S, et al. - The prime focus of this study was the evaluation of the prognostic role of multiple lymph node basin drainage (MLBD), in patients with positive sentinel lymph node (SLN) biopsy. MLBD did display any relation with survival, which was associated with American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) prognostic factors, in positive SLN patients. Due to the overall number of positive lymph node (LN) driving the prognosis, the significance of a complete lymph node dissection (CLND) in all the positive basins was affirmed.
