Townsend M, et al. - An inquiry was set up with regard to a single-day, single-appointment, multidisciplinary head and neck clinic model for the reduction in treatment delay and comprehensiveness of care. The data illustrated the complexity of the coordination of the management of head and neck cancer. Treatment appeared to be time sensitive, and often clinician resources were found to be limited. This multidisciplinary clinic model correlated with improved efficiency and completeness of care.
