MRI protocol optimization for quantitative dynamic contrast enhancement (DCE)-MRI of the spine
Magnetic Resonance Imaging Sep 07, 2017
Lavini C, et al. – In this study, researchers systematically evaluated different Dynamic Contrast Enhancement (DCE)–MRI protocols in the spine, with the goal of finding an optimal protocol that provides data suitable for quantitative pharmacokinetic modelling (PKM). The results showed that the proposed Dynamic Contrast Enhancement protocol, encompassing the spine and the descending aorta, produces a realistic arterial input function and dynamic data suitable for PKM.
