Gunzler SA, et al. - Researchers attempted to investigate the phenotype and prevalence of LRRK2 G2019S carriers with Parkinson's disease (PD) in the population of Cleveland, Ohio. Comparable prevalence of the LRRK2 G2019S mutation in Ashkenazi Jewish (AJ) and non-AJ subjects was obtained to other clinical studies. Findings did not reveal any notable motor or non-motor differences between LRRK2+ PD and matched PD controls.
