It was reported that the desire to receive and donate information was based on the characteristics and beliefs of the candidate donors. Their characteristics appeared to be associated with the acceptance of meeting the offspring in the future: The donors with a partner and donors who said they would donate without financial reimbursement exhibited less willingness to meet the donor offspring.
