Morphological characterization of pulmonary nodules with ultrashort TE MRI at 3T
American Journal of Roentgenology Mar 23, 2018
Wielputz MO, et al. - The prime focus of this study was to examine the potential of ultrashort TE (UTE) MRI for precise lung nodule characterization in subjects aged 68.7 ± 10.8 years. As per the outcomes, UTE-MRI systematically underestimated dimension measurements by approximately 1–2 mm. Nonetheless, it exhibited high diagnostic properties and interreader agreement, yet unprecedented by MRI, for nodule morphologic assessment.
