Minocycline and matrix metalloproteinase inhibition in acute intracerebral hemorrhage: A pilot study
European Journal of Neurology Sep 26, 2017
Chang JJ, et al. - This pilot, double-blinded, placebo-controlled randomized clinical study was performed to assess the feasibility and safety of minocycline in intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) patients. In ICH patients, high-dose intravenous minocycline could be safely administered. To evaluate the efficacy of minocycline and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) inhibition in ICH patients, larger randomized clinical trials were required.
