Carriere K, et al. - A systematic review and meta-analysis are performed to assess the effectiveness of mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) on weight loss and eating behaviours. Researchers propose that MBIs are successful in decreasing weight and improving obesity-related eating behaviours among individuals with overweight and obesity. Further research is needed to analyze their effectiveness for weight loss maintenance.
