Mild cognitive impairment in older adults with pre-dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease: Prevalence and association with physical function

Otobe Y, et al. - This study assessed older adults with pre-dialysis chronic kidney disease (CKD) to determine the prevalence of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and the link between MCI and physical function. Findings reported that MCI prevalence was as high as 62.5%. Notably, an association was evident between MCI and reduced gait speed.
