Walker KA, et al. - The possible connection between a higher level of circulating inflammatory markers during midlife with smaller brain volumes in late life, was comprehensively inspected in this trial. The intent was to clarify the temporal association between systemic inflammation and neurodegeneration. Evidence was yielded with regard to a possible early contributory role of systemic inflammation in neurodegeneration and cognitive aging.
