Microvascular comparison in younger and older patients with retinal vein occlusion analyzed by OCT angiography

Ye P, Zhu T, Zheng F, et al. - Researchers herein retrospectively reviewed retinal vein occlusion (RVO) patients who underwent anti-VEGF treatment in order to determine changes in retinal microvasculature in young vs elderly patients. The younger group comprised 20 patients with 20 eyes and the older group comprised 46 patients with 46 eyes. Per outcomes, young patients with RVO can attain fast rehabilitation of deep retinal vasculature which result in a better visual outcome.
