Xu J, et al. - Authors here presented their experience with one-stage surgical resection of both intra- and extra-foraminal /paraspinal components of spinal dumbbell tumors using the microsurgical keyhole technique. As per observations, for resection of spinal dumbbell tumors, the microscopic minimally invasive keyhole technique could be used successfully. They recommended further comparative studies to demonstrate the benefits of the microsurgical keyhole technique compared with the traditional open procedures for surgical resection of spinal dumbbell tumors.
