MicroRNA values in children with rheumatic carditis: A preliminary study
Rheumatology International Jun 22, 2018
Gumus G, et al. - Authors evaluated the values of miRNAs in children with rheumatic carditis and compared them with healthy children. The expression of 20 miRNAs were analyzed using real-time polymerase chain reaction. Results suggested that in children with rheumatic carditis, there was significant downregulation of hsa-miR-16-5p, hsa-miR-223-3p and hsa-miR-92a-3p compared to the controls. Between the groups, other examined miRNAs did not express differently.
