microRNA-675 promotes glioma cell proliferation and motility by negatively regulating retinoblastoma 1
Human Pathology Oct 18, 2017
Zheng Y, et al. - This paper effectuated an inquiry of the miR-675 expression in gliomas along with its underlying mechanisms. This study culminated in the possibility of miR-675 serving as a pivotal negative regulator of RB1. There appeared to be a clinical correlation between the imbalance of miR-675-RB1 axis with aggressive progression of glioma patients. It was noted miR-675 possibly acted as an oncogenic miRNA in glioma cells through the regulation of its target gene RB1.
