Coudert A, et al. - In a pediatric population, researchers investigated the microbiological cultures and the management of acute ethmoiditis complicated by subperiosteal orbital abscess (SPOA). Researchers observed a rise in Streptococcus milleri, Staphylococcus spp and anaerobic bacteria for five years in acute ethmoiditis complicated by SPOA. They suggested adapting antibiotics to these bacteria, even in children under ten years old.
