Okuda T, et al. - Authors aspired to assess the association between metamorphopsia and outer retinal morphologic changes following successful vitrectomy for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD). Data illustrated that restoration of the ellipsoid zone and interdigitation zone bands served as an essential factor for the reduction of metamorphopsia subsequential to successful vitrectomy for macula-off RRD.
