Bazerbachi F, et al. - This meta-analysis strived to compare metal stents (MSs) and plastic stents (PSs) in terms of walled-off necrosis (WON) resolution, the possibility of resolution after one procedure, and adverse events. This systematic review recommended that with fewer bleeding events, MSs were superior for WON resolution, trend toward less occlusion and perforation rate but increased migration rate compared with PS.
