Metacognitive beliefs as psychological predictors of social functioning: An investigation with young people at risk of psychosis

Bright M, et al. - The current study was interested in exploring the metacognitive beliefs as potential predictors of structured activity in those with an At Risk Mental State (ARMS). The results of this study revealed that age was a positive predictor of structured activity and a single negative metacognitive belief negatively anticipated structured activity. It was noted that dangerousness of thoughts was an important predictor of structured activity.
