Meta-analytic review of the effects of a single dose of intranasal oxytocin on threat processing in humans

Leppanen J, et al. – The current study examined the effects of intranasal oxytocin on threat processing in humans. Results of this study suggested that oxytocin might influence the salience of threatening stimuli among healthy individuals, increasing the startle response to the threat.
