Â The aim of this study was to perform a meta-analysis in order to evaluate the risk of hyperhidrosis associated with commonly used antidepressant agents and examined the influence of medication class, pharmacodynamics, and dose on risk of hyperhidrosis. The results of this study demonstrated that risk of hyperhidrosis was significantly increased with most antidepressant medications but was correlated with dopamine transporter affinity.
