Agarwal N, et al. - Researchers performed a meta-analysis, wherein, they analyzed data from observational studies and randomized controlled trials comparing outcomes of aspirin monotherapy with dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) in patients post coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Findings demonstrated that DAPT vs aspirin monotherapy appeared to be related to a reduction in graft occlusion, major adverse cardiac events (MACE), and all-cause mortality, without significantly increasing major bleeding in patients undergoing CABG.
