Takagi H, et al. – This study compared the mortality associated with off–pump versus on–pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), in order to determine if off–pump CABG is associated with an increased very long–term (≥10–year) all–cause mortality. Findings revealed that in comparison with on–pump CABG, off–pump CABG was associated with an increase in very long–term (≥10 years) all–cause mortality.
