Meta-analysis comparing frequency of overweight vs normal weight in patients with new-onset heart failure

Krittanawong C, et al. - The link between overweight, obesity, and the incidence of new-onset heart failure (HF) was investigated herein. Researchers found that both overweight individuals were independently associated with a significantly higher incidence of HF, relative to healthy normal-weight individuals.
