Mental health problems and cancer risk factors among young adults

Massetti GM, et al. – This study was designed to determine the links between mental health problems and modifiable cancer risk factors in young adulthood. As per findings, an association exists between mental health problems in young adulthood and potentially modifiable factors and behaviors that increase the risk for cancer. It was realized that efforts to prevent cancer and promote health must attend to mental health disparities to meet the needs of young adults.
