da Silva LM, et al. – In this research work, the scientists examined the effects of propolis and phenolic compounds on human laryngeal epidermoid carcinoma (HEp–2) cells. Investigations revealed that propolis exerted cytotoxic effects on HEp–2 cells. Findings of this work displayed its potential as an antitumour drug.
