MDCT-based radiomics features for the differentiation of serous borderline ovarian tumors and serous malignant ovarian tumors
Cancer Management and Research Jan 15, 2021
Yu X, Wang L, Yu H, et al. - This study was attempted to explore if multidetector computed tomography-based radiomics features can distinguish serous borderline ovarian tumors (SBOTs) from serous malignant ovarian tumors (SMOTs). , There were 80 patients with SBOTs and 102 patients with SMOTs, confirmed by pathology (training set: n = 127; validation set: n = 55) between December 2017 to June 2020, included in the study. By receiver operating characteristic analysis, researchers examined three models using selected radiomics parameters generated by the support vector machine (SVM) classifiers in each phase, which were then compared using the DeLong test. For the differentiation of SBOTs and SMOTs, MDCT-based radiomics features could be applied as biomarkers.
