Maternal and neonatal vitamin D status are not associated with risk of childhood type 1 diabetes: A Scandinavian case-cohort study

Thorsen SU, et al. - Experts aspired to explore whether average maternal 25(OH)D plasma concentrations during pregnancy were correlated with risk of childhood type 1 diabetes (T1D). Normal variation in maternal or neonatal 25(OH)D did not possibly have a clinically important effect on risk of childhood T1D.
