Maternal and infant outcomes after human papillomavirus vaccination in the periconceptional period or during pregnancy

Lipkind HS, et al. – In this study, researchers assess whether quadrivalent human papillomavirus vaccine (4vHPV) administered amid the periconceptional period or amid pregnancy was related to increased risks for adverse obstetric events, adverse birth outcomes, or selected major structural birth defects. It was concluded that the quadrivalent HPV vaccine inadvertently administered amid pregnancy or amid the periconceptional period was not related to adverse pregnancy or birth outcomes.
