Lorenz DR, et al. – This study was designed to assess long–term impacts of marijuana use on human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) disease progression and comorbidities. As per findings, heavy marijuana use conferred risk for cardiovascular (CV) disease in HIV–infected men ages 40Â60, independent of tobacco smoking and traditional risk factors.
