Gamaleldin M, et al. - Outcomes of patients who underwent endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) were compared with those of who underwent laparoscopic colectomy for benign colorectal polyps. Observations revealed that compared to conventional segmental resection, ESD was more cost-effective. An experienced endoscopist could offer ESD as a colon-preserving procedure.
