Bonadio W, et al. - A comparative assessment was pursued of the outcomes of children with perforated appendicitis who received early appendectomy (EA) versus medical management (MM). The findings displayed that a prominently less morbidity and complications were experienced by those who received EA than those receiving MM. Support was not yielded with regard to the theoretical concern for enhanced morbidity related to the EA management of perforated appendicitis.
