Takeuchi N, et al. - This study assessed the clinical outcomes in patients who were operated for intra-articular calcaneal fractures using a calcaneal locking plate and a bone spreader as a reduction tool. A locking calcaneal plate afforded restoration and attenuation of intra-articular calcaneal fractures, with good clinical results and hence, can be used to treat this patient population.
