Moskowitz A, et al. - This study compared metoprolol, diltiazem, and amiodarone as treatment options for atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response (RVR) in the intensive care unit (ICU). Findings suggested that metoprolol was the most commonly used agent and, metoprolol had a lower failure rate than amiodarone and was superior to diltiazem in achieving rate control at 4 h.
