Gilbert AL, et al. - This research explored the universal screening for postpartum mood and anxiety disorders in the setting of a pediatric primary care. The findings shed light on a strong ethical case for universal screening for postpartum depression (PPD) with the aid of validated tools, when informed consent could be gained and when suitable follow-up services were available and accessible. This study also discussed the clinical considerations, practical resources, and areas for prospective studies.
