Macular structures, optical components, and visual acuity in preschool children after intravitreal bevacizumab or laser treatment
American Journal of Ophthalmology May 18, 2018
Lee YS, et al. - Authors evaluated the macular structures, optical components, and visual acuity in preschool-aged children with a history of type I retinopathy of prematurity who underwent either intravitreal bevacizumab (IVB), laser, or a combination of treatments. Data demonstrated an association of IVB-treated eyes with deeper anterior chamber depths and thinner foveal, parafoveal and perifoveal thicknesses vs laser therapy. Also, less refractive errors and better uncorrected visual acuity was seen in these IVB-treated eyes.
