Lymph node ratio as a valuable prognostic factor for patients with colorectal liver-only metastasis undergoing curative resection
Cancer Management and Research Jul 27, 2018
Deng YX, et al. - In patients with colorectal liver-only metastasis (CRLM) after curative resection, researchers examined the predictive value of lymph node ratio (LNR). For this analysis, they retrospectively studied the clinicopathologic features of 154 CRLM subjects who had curative resection between 2005 and 2015. According to the findings, LNR was an independent predictor for 3-year recurrence-free survival (RFS) and overall survival (OS) in patients with CRLM who had a curative resection. Its prognostic value was better than N stage and lymph node distribution.
