Lymph node metastasis in early gastric adenocarcinoma in the United States of America
Endoscopy Dec 21, 2017
Pokala SK, et al. - Researchers carried out this study to explore the incidence and predictors of lymph node involvement for early-stage gastric adenocarcinomas in the USA. Low rates of nodal metastasis were observed in low-grade T1a tumors < 4 cm in size among the US population and could warrant consideration for local resection. In the US population, larger, higher grade T1b tumors had high rates of nodal metastasis. Lymph node dissection could be indicated for patients who were surgical candidates.
