Lupus low disease activity state is associated with a decrease in damage progression in Caucasian patients with SLE, but overlaps with remission
Annals of Rheumatic Diseases Oct 07, 2017
Zen M, et al. - The prevalence, duration and impact on damage accrual of the 'Lupus Low Disease Activity State' (LLDAS) in a monocentric cohort of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) were assessed in this study. It was concluded that the LLDAS was related to a decrease in damage progression in Caucasian patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The greater part of patients in LLDAS was in remission, which can largely contribute to the protective impact of LLDAS on damage accrual.
