Perrone T, et al. – This research explored the role of Lung ultrasound (LUS) in the differential diagnosis of dyspnea. It was reported that the bedside LUS evaluation contributed with high sensitivity and specificity, to the differential diagnosis of dyspnea. It was applicable not only in the emergency setting but also in the sub–acute Internal Medicine arena. A broader utility of this portable technique in the wards was necessitated.
