Lung Cancer Apr 29, 2019
Vayr F, et al. - In this systematic review, researchers, for the first time, identified the impact of lung cancer (LC) on the employment status of survivors in a comprehensive manner. A total of 642 scientific papers have been collected. According to results, LC survivors have observed the strongest decline in earnings vs other types of cancer. Findings revealed that LC has a significant impact on patients' employment. The promising outcomes of recent therapeutic strategies could lead to improved social and professional prognosis. There is to be expected a reduction in indirect costs.
