Xu H, et al. - The characteristics of lung cancers in patients with tuberculous fibrothorax or empyema were described in this study. The authors concluded that lung cancers ipsilateral to tuberculous fibrothorax or empyema presented larger and advanced T stages, and the diagnosis could be delayed. Squamous cell carcinoma was the most common type of cancer.
