Pilkington SM, et al. – In order to detect a link between lower levels of IL–1β gene expression and impaired Langerhans cell migration in the aged human skin, experts perform this study. Due to altered expression of IL1B and decoy receptor gene IL1R2, IL–1β signalling is diminished in aged skin.
