Low-intensity shockwave treatment for erectile dysfunction – How long does the effect last?

Kitrey ND, et al. - The researchers aimed to assess the long-term effectiveness of penile low-intensity shockwave treatment (LIST), 2 years after an initially successful outcome. Results demonstrated LIST to be efficacious in the short term, but the treatment efficacy was maintained in only half of the patients after two years. A better likelihood to preserve the beneficial effect was noted in the patients with milder forms of erectile dysfunction (ED).
