Low-dose propofol for pediatric migraine: A prospective, randomized controlled trial

Sheridan DC, et al. - The efficacy of low-dose propofol (LDP) was compared to standard therapy (ST) in pediatric migraine treatment. Compared to ST, LDP did not achieve better pain reduction; however, LDP was associated with markedly fewer rebound headaches and a non-significant trend toward shorter median length of stay (LOS) from drug administration to disposition.
