Loss of ARID1A expression is associated with poor prognosis in patients with gastric cancer
Human Pathology Apr 27, 2018
Zhu YP, et al. - This research examined the ARID1A expression and its connection with prognosis in gastric carcinoma, by analyzing the postoperative sections of 98 patients with primary gastric cancer and 40 patients with gastric benign lesions through immunohistochemistry. It was inferred that tumor invasion depth, stage, poor differentiation, lymph node metastasis and ARID1A expression illustrated a notable link with the overall survival of gastric cancer patients. Thus, it was found that the loss of ARID1A expression in gastric cancer patients was related to poor survival.
