Longitudinal predictive validity of emotional intelligence on first year medical students perceived stress

Gupta R, et al. – The aim of the present study was to explore the association between emotional intelligence, perceived stress, and academic performance. It was observed in the findings that medical students with higher trait emotional intelligence perceived lesser stress. The findings suggested that medical colleges could adopt the strategies to develop emotional intelligence of medical students to improve their well–being.
